---------------------------Charon------ParisActually, it has a faster MAC cooldown, and not TOO much of a damage buff compared to the charon. It also has WORSE AAA than a charon, which is the trade off for the MAC. I spam charons and parises in my fleet, to the point that they are about half of my fleet
Hull ----------------------416----------624
Armor -------------------2-------------4
Anti-Matter -------------200----------200
MAC ---------------------31-----------42
Archer ------------------ 28-----------42
AAA-Helix ---------------15-----------15
Just re-checked.
Oh and yes i too have about a quarter of my fleet composed by Charons and another quarte by Paris, i find them very useful.

All Frigates do 500 damage per MAC round, they just fire at different rates. The damage values you see in-game is DPS (damage per second). While that is important, first volley in SotP is pretty critical.
Ouh, that explains a lot. Pretty everything actually.
But still i think that "strong vs. light frigates" might divert a non-Halo gamer to produce less Paris than Charon, which is incorrect.

Paris is a heavy class which means there are less of them than the standard "light" frigate of the charon.
Also for UNSC vs UNSC which you currently have, the paris class is better in numbers since it has the health and armor to absorb a standard MAC round, while a charon does not have that characteristic. So for UNSC v UNSC purposes, the paris is better, BUT
For UNSC vs covenant which you havnt had access to, the covenant plasma torpedo is the great equalizer. Paris classes and charon classes both get one shotted by the stuff so the paris class essentially takes a more fleet support role where youll build like 25 or so to get a good amount of its buff while supporting like 50 + charons. this is since the covenant can one shot a paris class and a charon class the cool down time doesnt matter. the paris class wont fire again so its better to buy something cheaper in numbers and buy paris classes in more of a buff value of numbers.
