I don't get why you're offended by this, Defender. It's not surprising when you have the most to say that people will often complain about the quantity of your statements/outlooks. That being said, good job on staying attached to this forum and spreading your roots. Just think about what really needs to be posted or not. This is a mod community, built around a specific project, not a general gaming community.

It's annoying from a moderator's perspective because we have to monitor even the most mind-numbing threads for inappropriate behavior, however exceedingly small that set of behavior might be in this community. Everything must be read at least once. I don't know how many times I've gone to see what's been posted recently to see like ten or fifteen threads with Defender as the most recent poster. No one has that many important things to say. They are often unnecessary one word replies or the continuation of drawn out shitty jokes. Other people do it, but Defender does it the most, and so he must be figuratively crucified in a public campaign against shitposting. I will concede that he contributes much in the way of ideas and playtesting, but as his shitposting doesn't invalidate his contributions, neither do his contributions validate his shitposting. And for that matter, more responsible use of off-topic in general by all users would be a godsend.

I've noticed the quality of the posts (especially in the off-topic) declining after our move, and I'd like to think perhaps it's my fault. Other moderators wouldn't have let this happen, but I've allowed the figurative decline of Rome to occur without lifting a finger from the throne. I don't want to have to crack down on this, but consider this thread as a stern warning.
