I apoligize in advance if someones brought this up already. I'm actually pretty sure you know already just cuz its kinda hard to miss, but after I installed the patch the defense research tree just says "commisioning" or something and is blank otherwise. The new icons on the other research trees look nice though.

That sounds like a bug of your specific version. Do you mean there is no research for the defense tree?

Just check the usual:
Up to date version of Entrenchment (It use entrenchment and no other version)
What OS are you using?
Various other things.

Same. I get a scattered arrow and thats it. I didn't have this problem on my first install though. Re-install?

That would be a corrupt... Something. Either corrupt install, download, or bad sins version

Did you replace the entire mod with the new version or copy over? Don't copy over, make a new folder

I'm guessing that I either have the wrong version if sins or I installed wrong. I'll reinstall the game and the mod and let you know what happens. I may not be very timely about it but you'll hear from me again lol

I'm about to reinstall everything. Also I run windows 7, and my Entrenchment version is 1.05. I cannot remember if I installed the mod correctly though, so I'll be trying that first

So you have SoaSE with the Entrenchment DLC, not trinity? The latest version of Entrenchment is 1.055. I suggest a game update is in order.

I just re-installed and should now be up to date on my base content. I'm about to reinstall patch one for SOTP now. Will i run into issues if i install it by extracting the files into my sins folder with winrar?

as long as you only put in the patch (aka, install the mod correctly), you should be ok, assuming that there is nothing wrong with your sins version or corrupt download.
