I was playing a game the other day when I eliminated the planet population from culture. In sins, this wouldn't bother me but in a halo mod this would not happen. Is there a plan for culture? I was thinking it would be neat if instead of culture eliminating planet's population it just lowered the production speed and/or income while boosting friendly planets production and income.

You could look at it as the population slowly committing mass suicide/rebellion/fleeing because of their proximity to Covenant space.

Or we could give every structure 100% resistance to enemy culture when built in a gravity well then have culture give greater buffs to friendlies.

Haha I thought of this and I didn't like the idea especially since it was a Covenant planet that got killed and from what I read they seem to fight to the death..Well the Elites do at least.

I like the idea of giving buffs to friendlies. I see it as propaganda, like Spartan IIs being used to boost moral.

True, instead they commit suicide.

True, instead they commit suicide.

TL;DR: Unikraken is right again.

This actually sounds like a pretty good idea. I would be in favor of something to that nature.
