Do you think they should make another Halo ODST? Or make another ODST-esque game as in expand the universe into something different? I personally thought ODST was one of the better games in the series. It was a fresh look on the Halo universe with unique and distinctive music setting it aside from the other games. I enjoyed my time as the Rookie and wish to hear more about his story.

I liked ODST as well. As you said a fresh look/ feel/ sound. Although the fact you could beat a brute to death as good if not better than as a Spartan sort of made me laugh. I don't know if it should go to more a tactical type approach if you play as a normal Human. Like sort of Brothers and Arms games were you had squad orders. That might take away from the Halo experience we all know and love but could be something different, a bit of change. At least feel there is more of a consquence of breaking cover to shoot at an enemy. After all they are no Spartan with the Mjolnir armour, one good shot can kill an ODST (unless your name is Kat and a stupid bitch and not turn on your armours shielding).

Yea. I thought ODST was the easiest on legendary out of all the games. An new genre would be... different, but I'd play a Brothers in Arms-esque Halo (not furious four though, It looks shit.) or maybe more like Star Wars Republic Commando.

Yeah It was by no means Halo 2 legendary... ah the memories. I hadn't heard of Furious Four, searched it just then. I saw the logo of the game and that was enough for me I knew exactly what you were getting at. But yeah having a squad of 4 or 8 and issuing commands to take out enemies (Tom Clancy games, Ghost recon, Rainbow Six) that are obviously stronger and numerically superior than your squad. Also mixing up stealth missions and balls to the wall combat missions would be good I think. After all these are ODST's they are trained to drop into enemy territory and conduct mission just like Spartans are as well.

Furious fours supposed to be Inglorious Bastard-esque with an alternate take on WW2. Why would they go from squad based shooter (award winning) to fps jetpack nazi's? But back to halo. Maybe they should make a Halo Wars 2, but make it more like empire at war or AoE and the original tech demonstration of halo wars (It looked so awesome, where did they go wrong) but I also don't want them to milk it like final fantasy, they are already on 8 games.

After Halo 3, I was excited that they made ODST and Reach because I thought it was the beginning of a trend in the franchise. I thought they were going to focus less on the Forerunners (what with most of all three original games taking place on or around a Forerunner installation) and more on stories surrounding the individual UNSC worlds attacked in the Human-Covenant war. I thought this because I thought it was analogous to what happened with music video games around that time; they made an ungodly number of spin-off games. But I did not mind one bit letting them ride that gravy train. And they wouldn't all be Reach-type scenarios, there have been instances in which the UNSC successfully defended a colony to the end of the war. But instead of further describing that aspect of the story they threw all of these colony world locations they made up out the window, bothered to make some new ones later, and then the war was over and it's all about the return of the Forerunners and ONI/Separatists/Loyalists powerplays. Now I haven't played Halo 4, or read many of the newer novels, so I might enjoy it, but it's not what I'm most interested in story-wise.

Needless to say, in my opinion a Halo game detailing the military career of Edward Buck or Gage Yevgenny would be the absolute shit. Also, perhaps the Rookie before his time on Earth.

I'd like them to take spartan ops somewhere, maybe having a star wars republic commando esque game, where instead of delta squad, its fireteam crimson

I would play republic commando-esque halo as long as it wasn't Chief. He stay's solely FPS.
