I would not say that.. The only S-2 you see in any of the games is Jorge and I'm not all that impressed. Remember combat in the games is not cannon. Now for the personality aspect. The spartan 4s are not trained from the age of six. They are all spec op veterans how passed the selection process. So they WILL behave different not all of them are funny guys. I can carry on this debate if one would like via PM later...

Nailed it. They made her a bitch to make it seem like she's tough as nails and a strong independent woman who don't need no man but in reality they just made a very rude, complaining character. Dreadful.

 

Also, can we talk for a minute how the UNSC apparently had a 30 year leap forward in technology in the span of a year or two? I get that they reverse engineered forerunner technology, I really do, but the idea of turning humanity into a superpower right off the bat is ridiculous. This is a civilization who just suffered 900 billion casualties, countless destroyed worlds, and the utter annihilation of the vast amount of their armed forces.

All of a sudden, we built an incredibly huge ship capable of dealing with dozens of Cruisers while we developed a new technology for a better powered-suit and trained dozens of soldiers to become the next generation of Spartans, at the same time we're replenishing our destroyed fleets with a newly designed vessel.

In Halo 3 we only had a couple of Charons to defend the surface of the Earth. In 4 years we achieved more than what we did in 2 centuries, with thousands of Colonies.
