I'm a computer scientist by training, currently finishing my masters. But I'm working in infectious diseases, but not the medical/biological side. Instead I model and simulate the spread of a disease through a population, e.g. to allow for predictions on where a disease will show up next. Yea, I'm just happy I don't have to work nights on weekends anymore. Getting stranded because you missed the last bus out of town is not my idea of fun.
