Typed this up tonight to go along with a fan-fic I play out in my head, thought I might as well share. By the way I wrote it in a way that you are the reader, in that time in that place, and this is all happening in real time. So for the best results, just keep reading and treat certain things like popups. (Also if you find a few references you don't understand, that's my fault, I would have probably referenced something that only i know about) Also feel free to post your own stories here, or do whatever you want, made this as so that anything made up can be put here without having to follow a specific subject. So have a Idea, post away.

... as for fireteam ballistic, its actions are proving invaluable in holding the planet, the Covenant rebellion seems nearly undeterred by them however. I blame this for their incredible hatred for the team, they know it's their home, and they have plans to do whatever they need to eradicate them...I credit the success of the team to none other than its leader... but regardless of his valuable tactical insight and heroics. I am beginning to find that he suffers from some depression and stress form the multiple attacks on (CLASSIFIED), I don't know how long this will go on, but I have faith it is part of a larger transformation, effecting the entire team...

He has earned my respect and backing, but these days, that's rather easy to do, these days anyone can be a hero.

I had practically made an entire story about what happened after Chief went to the Ark. I'll have to post that whenever I get my computer up and running again.

I set it pre war to match the mod time line. When the mod moves into the Covvie Human war so will the news. I just ran out of time to play with and so stopped writing.

Fan fiction is notoriously bad, Halo fanon is the worst. I mean that whole "swarm war" crap. It is like 90% out of 17,000 articles. Its like they said, we're going to steal everything from halo and make it not halo.

There are some articles Circa 100, that are actually worth reading, but everything else want to make me defecate all over my screens, that ignite my fecal matter, grab one of my firearms, run away doing a ministry of silly walks, then find a cliff, and blow my brains out, laughing all the while like this: screaming what is seen can not be unseen!

Games/mods can throw that rule out because there will be gaps. All of the ships that are not in halo are really good, like the orion and the Thermopylae.... well maybe not the Thermopylae, that things supposed to be a super carrier, but is more like a damned dreadnought, fighting of chinese junkers.

The 2 best fanons actually went on to become canon because it was so freaking awesome, (fistful of arrows guy) He didn't even get paid.

What about my thread? It isn't exactly fanon. In fact I have never read any halo fanon.

Yea, I was confused on whether or not he was referring to the mod.
Most of the UNSC and Covvie ships are mentioned somewhere in the Halo canon but only in the books and so only the visual element of most ships is made up.

It was only called super carrier and so didn't follow the naming conventions of the other ships. Charon-Class Light Frigate, Super Carrier or Thermopylae-Class Super Carrier. It is the same with the Thanatos (Only Destroyer, added Thanatos-Class Destroyer). This was done so the naming conventions of all ships matched.

How many supercarriers (current world) have big bad ass weapons for direct engagement?

Needs to be nerfed, nerfed alot, then its squadrons need to be buffed, buffed a lot.

I agree in some ways, in others it is still a matter of choice, after all it was refereed to as "the pride of the UNSC" so it should be a mega warship, but squadron count should go down. Or it could be a mega carrier, so its all up to choice.

The Super Carrier was described as a badass ship and so will be used in the mod accordingly. If you have a problem with it this is a failing of the Halo canon, the mod is just trying to follow it. Not trying to sound rude.

Not sounding rude at all, Take for instance the nimtz, the enterprise and gerald R ford class supercarriers, they are most certainly badass ships, but they're not meant for combat. If they were to up against an outdated destroyer or frigate from about 100 years ago, they could still be defeated.

Modern day carriers have jack sh!t, sea sparrow missiles are a joke they have a failure rate more than the FGM javlin. Besides there are no references to the supercarrier even carrying macs.

The purpose of a carrier is to provide air cover for its attendant fleet, and for its fighters to attack its targets for it.

The purpose of a carrier is to provide air cover for its attendant fleet, and for its fighters to attack its targets for it.

The UNSC didn't have the luxury of following the standard principles of ship roles when the Covenant attacked. I'd definetly put double MAC guns and tons of archer missiles on a supercarrier if I known that fleet escorts do not stand well against covenant capitol ships.
