My friend gave me the Beta this morning. It turns out that it's the torrent one. The Covies aren't half-bad. The models are fine, it's just the textures that need redoing. A quote from another modder: "A great texture can save the worst model. The best model cannot save the worst texture."
The balancing isn't that bad either. It could be better, but there hasn't been enough testing so it's understandable.
Excellent mod, though! The UNSC is amazing. The only problem is that I'll be playing it instead of studying for my midterms

I'm not bragging. I'm just saying that they aren't that bad. It's only the textures that aren't very good. Everything else is near fine. I'm just saying what's good and what's not.

If you do have the torrent I would reccomend keeping quiet about if you play it, I would also reccomend carrying out the wishes of the actual makers and not spreading it. (Not that I am saying you would do that, although the person you got it from did technically spread it. 
)
