[Crisiss]

Crisiss the Athens and Valiant are the in fact canon designs. They come out of the graphical novels. The Athens (while not the canon name because there is none for the class) come from the grafical novel version of Halo: The fall of Reach. The Valiant (the canon name of the class) comes from the graphical version of the Impossible life and death of Preston J. Cole.

Oh, never read the graphical novel or that Cole book. Are they any good/worth getting/reading? Anyways, the fact remains that more creative designs are prevalent in the mod. If one thing irks me about this mod it's having a regular CCS and then a CRS floating right next to it that is 1/8th of it's size.

I personally would rather see a different model for the CRS.

I'd like it too, but this is not a SotP problem. It's a 343i problem, and we can't put a CRS model in the game that is not the model everyone can see in Halo 4. I can't stand it, and I'd really like to see a different model, but the blame is all of 343i.

1) Yes, they are good reading, essential for a Halo fan (this doesn't mean they're good nor that you have to like them).

2) It is actually 1/5.94 it's size

Well that's the canon. We scaled them right to the appropriate size between the ships.

There was a Q&A onn steam, and the answer I got to this question was that unlike the Plot Device, the details have a different scale on the CRS than the CCS, Whereas the blinking lights on the CAS are 1/2 a kilometer long. So 343 at least tried.

No, they weren't lazy about being lazy. Bungie however just did not care. Anyways it was the plot device not the CAS.

It's probably a good thing I don't have direct control over that, because I would probably replace all instances of "Unikraken" with something like "His Holiness, Grandmaster Funk Unikraken, devourer of children and scourge of Carpathia"

Maybe in Halo 4 but in the mod they have the same texture with minor tweaks
