Woah, hold on you can name your capitals!?


yeah the little orange bar at the top of the bottom hud peice, looks like a scuttle button, but not the same thing, allows you to rename ships.

As well as planets and starbases. There should be an upward arrow in the top center part of the lower part of the HUD. If you click it with a capital ship, planet, or starbase that you own selected, then you can change its name.

This game just got better! Now I can start naming my ships after great commanders, even though I'm not the greatest haha

I usually named my vanilla star bases after the SMACs in Halo 2, Cario Station, Malta, then I started just making them up like Dallas Station Biddaddaba Station (Real Place, look it up). I also named the Vanilla capitals after halo ships.

Prowlers just have to have a stealth ability, even if it has a timer. ONI needs its info.

Stealth is unworkable, sorry. It's an engine limitation.

It's more or less like a brief period of not being able to fire and invicibility. It isn't a true stealth as in not being able to see the unit. I believe.

Dont know if anyone has mentioned this idea but how about for the prowler stealth ability we use the unused shield function and call it the cloak, perhaps extend its diameter to allow the cloak/shield to be hit more easily with a very low hp so to buy the ship an extra few seconds to escape. also shange the particle effect to something like a haze or shadow to hide the ship more in place of the glowing evelope of light.
Also if in future if you ever build the forerunner builder flagship from cryptum can a gravity well generator be one of its abilities, would make sense if you're gonna build planets and stars you do need a big honking gravity well generator to collect the materials together wether it be gases or rocks, this would be a powerful weapon against ships like trapping then in amber or pulling them closer leaving them vulnerable to attack.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Gravity mechanics can be screwed with ingame (someone did that with black holes IIRC) but yeah making a gravity well would be near impossible
