But there is no real point for it for the mod at this time, maybe in future but I can't see it doing really anything in the mod

Prowler are quite useless because of low defense and weapons, the point of no return can be heavy armed, with good defenses, maybe longswords and the same abilities of the prowler (and mines, shiva...)

"Your destruction is the will of the Gods... and we are their instrument!"

Arbiter: There was only one ship.
Prophet of Truth: One? Are you sure?

Arbiter: Yes. They called it the "Pillar of Autumn"
Prophet of Mercy: Why was it not destroyed with the rest of their fleet?
Arbiter: It fled as we set fire to their planet. I followed with all the ships in my command.

Parangosky:"Corporal, when's the best time to kick a man?"

Vaz:"When he's down, ma'am. And preferably in the nuts. Hard as you can."

As I said the ability to create small patches of nuclear mines in a short period of time while being invulnerable during the process would be good.

Also is it possible to have a ship invulnerable but become vulnerable if a ship gets too close.

A Nuclear mine woudl equal destroying an entire fleet on UNSC ships. Including capital ships (if they are close enough), and even if they aren't destroyed they are rendered useless for a time. (Based on current mine properties)

We could make nuclear mines less powerful.

Oh please do. Right now they are cheap, you get a lot of them, and can easily destroy an entire fleet the second they jump in.

Mines are really helpful if placed right and used right, Like when I was attacked by Sancho, I placed mines all around my world with my fleet inside the blockade of mines and I took out half his fleet and crippled him as well as my SMACs cleaning up the ships that get past

They aren't as deadly to the covenant as they are the UNSC. It will most likely take out less ships and some covenant ships could just slipspace right by them.

I'm saying you can have the equivilant, if not stronger/worse than a MAC wall. Since you can place so many and they are really cheap for the crazy damage they can cause it seems disbalance. I've also never heard of the UNSC using space mines. Realistically the idea it seems like a very inaccurate and ineffecient way of dealing with actual ships in space.
