Hey I was just wondering if there was a projected window in which the covenant would be released? I have been playing the mod a lot recently, and with a couple of friends and we just want to mix things up a little and were wondering if you guys had a projected release date.

What our dear agigbyte everybody else is trying to say is that there is no 'projected release date' for the Covenant side of the mod. Its done when its done and when it fits the standards set up by the modteam(which I am not a part of, mind you) it will be released. From what i've gathered threads like these don't really help spur the dev's onwards either and they aren't fond of them. Its just best to hurry up and wait. I'm sure you'll know when the time is near.

Alright. Ill go into full detail as to WHY the covenant do not have a planned release date.
Currently, the UNSC doesnt even have structures, half of the covenant ships are using placeholder models, abilities havent been finalized, the mechanics of glassing planets are still concepts and havent been coded, the covenant starbase needs to have its upgrades tweaked with so that they arent mirror images of the vasari starbase... basically, theres a lot thats still being worked on.

Hey man! Welcome to the forums! I hope you decide to stay around. Anywho, we don't currently have a release date for the Covenant. We're working on them pretty hard, but this isn't a professional development firm and we work when we have free time. Right now we're waiting on over half of the Covenant models to be modeled or textured and that takes some serious time and work. I would expect something more concrete from us about a release time period at the end of summer unless something miraculous happens. We'll be patching the UNSC here soon with the completed models and some balances/new abilities, we hope you try that out with your friends and report back to us with bugs, errors and ideas you have. If you want to broaden your pool of players you can join our Steam Group, which has the same name as our mod. Thanks for joining the forums! Please stick around!
Edit: Don't expect to get a precise date from us at all, because if we missed that the community would nail our balls to a chair.

I'm sticking to the theory that Uni owns his soul and is controlling Spectre's body to cover up what he did. Uni never lets a mortal keep it's soul after it asks when the covenant are coming out, that's a fact.
