The current one is a lot better than the old concept. Imagine flying around a shipping crate like image one compared to the current Super Carrier.

Anchor station needs to go in my opinion. In my opinion the only purpose is use as a giant hangar. They are quite useless when it comes to defending anything. AI just spams more fighters than your station has.

the super carrier is square-ish and fat, its very ugly, no offence to the artiest, its just ill never use it.

Nice model, but that honestly looks like a corvette because of the turrets. A MAC would never be turreted except in the case of a Mini-MAC, which doesnt have the same level of firepower.

Now, for the reason WHY, because i know someone is going to ask. Basically, with a mini-MAC or turreted MAC (such as the onager on reach) you have a shorter barrel and less room for the coils of the cannon, which doesnt allow for the same level of acceleration, therefore less muzzle velocity, which translates into less KE.

I hope you understand that the supercarriers looks arent what make it appealing its the fact that, at level 10 with max research, you get 839 DPS, which is more than the orion (in terms of DPS)
