[SPECTRE]

After playing through a bit of the mass effect series i became rather attached to the SSV Normandy (SR2) and i wondered what if there was a similar UNSC vessel IN SOTP.
This would differ from your run of the mill frigate or prowler.
It would have:
Faster speed than normal frigates.
Advanced sensor systems. (fleet buff).
Powerful but slow to recharge belly slung weapons systems.
Good point defense systems.
Possibly Spartan Boarding teams.

The role of this frigate would be to act as small nimble vessels that can dodge through defenses and cause some damage to supply lines similar to the U boats of WW2 acting in wolf packs
.Low in crew cost but these types of frigates have a long construction time and an extremely high price.

It would have a somewhat shark like appearance, somewhat similar to the Normandy. (not that i dislike the UNSC prowlers but they just appeared a bit to "flat" for my liking)

You have to admit that is one elegant ship.

The prowler was designed with "stealth" principles in mind in the Halo universe as such it would appear to be flat and angled it could be updated in my opinion but it doesn't need to be either. It is a stealth scout it should look the part.

Id say the closest ship to this would be if you mixed the prowler with the charon frigate. This is mostly due to the fact that the normandy isnt a flimsy piece of titanium like the prowler, and has a decent armament for a ship of its size, much like every single UNSC ship that has a MAC on board, but the prowler has stealth systems like the normandy while lacking that powerful armament.

UNSC Port Stanley? I am in favor of a advanced prowler class ship. Maybe have a charon with prowler properties, that is what I envisioned then Stanley would look best as.

Because why not fill the mod with ships that look like they're from Mass Effect?

Lets not forget that we've already seen the Halo 4 version of the prowler in the earlier spartan ops missions, the UNSC Aladdin that drops off Halsey appears to be of a similar prowler design to the one seen in The Mona Lisa short story/animation

I couldn't see a prowler (Stealth ship) being all pointy and being at random angles like the ones in halo. The SotP one looks way better because it is believable. A low, sleek profile to help stop recognition along with on board electronic warfare things make the SotP prowler believable. But I do agree the ship is rather... plain. Definitely not as sexy as the Paris or Halcyon.

Technically its not a fighter plane, its more of a bomber (not as much as the B-2 stealth bomber), and is not as suited to dogfighting as other fighter jets.

Now, nitpicking aside, that thing does not have perfect stealth, it still shows up on radar, except its a very small blip so it looks like a bird or something instead of its real size. Also, the material it is coated in provides most of its stealth capabilities as it absorbs RADAR waves.
