Wait, did it ever get finished? Finished in a loose sense. Last I saw it was getting models donated from SotP and that was it. A tiny beta released and that was what, three years ago? To be fair I haven't checked in a while. More than happy to see it still going.
space beta was released end of last year or beginning of this year, one of those two, its really good for what it has

Yeah what Defender said, space beta was released and patched to 1.1 before the start of this year. There will be a news post detailing the next patch on June 20th.

I think I heard of this mod on the Sins of a Solar Empire forums (back in 2009 or 2010, I think), and I saw some ugly pre-Alpa sceenshots of SMAC stations on the MODDB page. lol 
Still got me excited through, I just love the Halo Universe.

Yeah, those early years were rough. I was texturing things when I was really desperate.
God, it was like living through the great depression. Glad you keep up the interest in us, though.

I was in search of an alternative for Freelancer Combat Evolved after the servers went down and found you on moddb if I recall correctly.
Been following quite some time now.
Edit: Don't mind the colours KhevaKins wanted it pretty!
