I liked Origins a lot. It was the only one that looked like it belonged to the franchise and was still entertaining to watch.

Origins = Epic

Homecoming = Wonderful storytelling.

The Duel = Gorgeous all around

The Prototype = The emotional bits were a bit forced but still enjoyable.

The Babysitter = Fun to watch a Spartan-II in action like that.

The Package = Felt more like a long cutscene than an actual short, fun to watch but it shouldn't be canon.

Odd One Out = FUCKING. HILARIOUS. Seriously, Funimation did a BRILLIANT job with the parody piece and it's still one of my favorites.

All around? 8/10 for me.

How dare they tackle the Halo franchise from a different angle and attempt to experiment for the sake of entertaining an audience and bringing us Halo filmography that wouldn't be matched until Forward Unto Dawn. How dare they make a parody piece that lovingly makes fun of certain parts of the series and DAMN them for doing something different than what I think in ANY WAY.

Legends was good. I enjoyed all of it in different ways.

But yeah, when Halo Legends came out I was stoked and it honestly delivered. The only part of it that I didn't really like was the parts of The Package with that stupid, too young, only quotes Cortana, Halsey that they shoehorned into it. THAT was legitimately stupid and all around just annoying.

Observe closely and you will notice that I have counter-intuitively reduced attitude polarization by forcing one party in this debate to concede unconditionally to the other party's argument. What with CanadaMan and Swiss Knight having claimed the two more popular overarching political ideologies, I may just have to become the resident paragon of fascism.

Legends was meant to be fun and entertaining through the prism of the standard anime tropes. I can appreciate all of it based on that assumption. I thought the package was the best of it. You have to be able to take your fanboy colored glasses off and just watch it for what it is.

being perfectly honest, The Package was my favorite out of all of them, i just felt like Halsey could have been done better

origins was my favorite, and was just fun to watch the very brief over view of the history unfold. they can, and should, redo origins to update it to halo 4 canon
