When I started learning the lengths and armaments of Halo ships I stopped looking down my nose at SW and ST fans.

We can still point and laugh at Mass Efect fans, though.

I don't like fans of Star Wars and Star Trek so I can relate.

hes got a point: a super star destroyer (executor class from the movies, not the ones with superlasers) could go head to head with Covenant Supercarriers, which are about 1.5 to 2 times as big

Started out as a parody of the giant robot genre but then it started taking itself seriously (hilariously so while still not taking itself seriously) about episode 8.

Being three parts Halo nerd, Trekkie, and Star Wars fanatic, I think I have a fairly unbiased opinon...

Star Wars has the advantage of numbers, and military tech (weapons, shields, etc)
Star Trek has the advantage of quality, unkillability (You have any idea how many times the Enterprise SHOULD HAVE DIED but didn't!??!?!?!?!?) and civilan tech (transporters)
Halo has the forerunners. Nuff said

I have the advantage of understanding that objects from different fictional universes are not comparable in any meaningful way.

Except shields in Star Trek don't work against kinetic projectiles for some reason.
