I'm just curious, what content in Halo 4 besides the stridents and infinity are planned or being discussed for both Covies and UNSC?

RCS Is probably just an outdated CCS with better Armour and worse weapons, kinda the halcyon of the covenant.

Except in the novel it was described as being a manta ray, and not a CCS.
You know, I would've accepted its design if, instead of 4 frontal fins, it only had one (like the old version of the Truth and Reconciliation). This way everyone could've understood how to distinguish the CRS from the CCS. But nope.

Yeah this is how I did it for HHF, I just removed two of the four fins and some mesh detail to make it look like the Halo CE/2 era CCS; a nice nostalgic throwback.

I think the CRS looks good:
Give it a different texture pattern (planned I believe) and it is all good in my book.
Edit: Or do what Zero said, that is better. Do that for the SotP one.

Get over it I think it's easy to distinguish. The CCS is almost 1.8 kilometers long, the CRS is 300 meters.... I don't know how you can confuse the two....

Spoiler
Give it a different texture pattern (planned I believe) and it is all good in my book. Also since the Covenant is a bit short on ship the manta ray design can be used to buff the fleet.

We are not short on ships at all we have more than enough.

I meant when compared to the UNSC (13 to 17). It wouldn't hurt to feature both the designs, like having the Athens and the Eion. In the book they have the same role but SotP makes them more distinct from one-another. Maybe even use the manta ray for the scout ship instead.

Ok, tell me: are those CCS-class or CRS-class? Or both? If you think there are both the classes, which are CCS and which are CRS?
Do you think the nearest one is a CRS? Why? Because it seems to be near the FUD and then it can't be so big to be a CCS? How distant is it from the FUD? 100 metres? 200 maybe? Or 2 kilometres?
They're CRS. I discovered it after I read the wikis.
Next question: what class is this?
Just tell me how do you understand the difference. When they're next to another ship?

I can see what you mean in regards to Halo but in SotP it really isn't a problem in my opinion so why not have the miniature CCS in it?Ok, tell me: are those CCS-class or CRS-class? Or both? If you think there are both the classes, which are CCS and which are CRS?

Wait the CRS is only 300m? and its classification is a light cruiser? The SDV class is a corvette and its twice that size. 343 needs to sort its ships out. Perhaps they class vessels on their armaments rather that their role, Armour and size.
