@ killa so are you saying we use the colony ship like the vasari and have it deploy starbases? cause that makes more sense than even in vanilla sins...

Yes, though you could still use a standard starbase constructor vessel just have it create an outpost if you'd like.

I prefer the colony ship idea, and maybe it can deploy two before being consumed, since this is a "light" outpost, maybe not possible due to the pain in the ass that is hard coding, but still it would be cool.

And because MIC needs something other than MOAR SHIP SPAM to make it appealing as a "subfaction that is split via research in midgame". While I understand that it's kinda odd to have an DEW on a non-ONI ship, we can make a reason for it. Otherwise, we'd have people always choosing ONI. I know I'd rather have shields and other cool benefits rather than just MOAR SHIPS

Better Hull? Or else seriously just give MIC some exclusive ships. You want that Orion? Tough. No shields for you.

Otherwise late game ideas are a bit tricky when it isn't as you say just the spam fest.

Built in abilities that you can't activate?

Like where anchor stations already do that, co ordination stuff.

I think the UNSC might only have the one though (Cov have 2) which leaves a slot spare. See what Sloose or Dianno think.

Edit: Crap, I've just remembered most of them have 2... I'll raise the point next time it comes up. There's other things to be sorted for the moment.

That reminds me, that anchor thread needs an update. I'll nudge M486...
