SPECTRE that part was in caps because IT WAS A WARNING. I put something it ALL CAPS to make sure that it is read. Defender does have a much better idea about how I communicate on both the forums and steam. After all its not like I wasn't in voice chat with him several times a week throughout the summer.

SPECTRE, will all respect, everywhere you've been going lately has turned into an argument, often unnecessarily. There is a difference between heated discussion and adversarial posturing. I hope you take the next week to learn the difference and come back renewed. Temp ban because I'm tired of the drama llamas.

Seriously though, good choice. I'm actually far more interested in Ember's hardlight theory, the discussion never really got resolved.
My personal take on shields in my own writing was that they're basically like custard. They'll stop energy-based weapons or anything going above a certain speed, lower speed items can pass through relatively unhindered.
Totally unscientific and the continuity was appalling but it felt like an approximation of what the reality could be like.
