Patch notes:
Patch I
Rebellion
Covenant
-Removed corvette "covenant gunboat" ship due to it not being what we desired.
-Moved the SDV corvette to be the new covenant siege frigate and added 2 fighter squadrons.
It will behave like the SDV did in Halo:Reach, no shields, low damage but able to siege planets. (still a place holder model)
-Moved the CPV Heavy destroyer to combat role, it will be able to tank and help defeat unsc frigates more effectively now.
-Doubled their shields and hull HP pool
-Made the Super Destroyer able to target 4 ships at a time.
-Increased Covenant strikecraft squad sizes and how many squads ships can field.
-Made the Picket the AA ship of the covenant replacing the SDV.
-The CAR frigate will be the starting frigate.
-Changed Covenant Tech Tree to remove certain technologies and consolidated others.
-Buffed the DDS carrier.
-Removed Random Chance abilities from all covenant ships.
-Buffed Repair Station ability
-Reduced Super Destroyer's supply cost to 175
-Removed duplicate unlock text in researches
-Gave a bunch of ships icons
UNSC
-Moved the Eion to militia fleets
-Moved the Athens from Capital ship to a normal Carrier
-Buffed the Athens/Phoenix/Super carrier(Trafalgar) with Deck guns. Essentially will do more damage to enemy ships. They will not have AAA guns to enhance the mako/stalwarts role in the fleet.
-Non AA ships (Everything but the mako/stalwart) will have their AA reduced to be 1/4 effective as a Stalwart/Mako. So youd need 4 paris classes to equal 1 Stalwart/mako in AA defense.
-Doubled their HP pool.
-Increased damage of all UNSC strikecraft to be equal to their covenant counterparts
-Increased fighters per squad count for all UNSC squads to match their covenant counterparts
-Doubled SMAC damage from 30,000 to 60,000.
-Shiva Nukes are no longer available at level 1, but require Level 2 capital ships.
-Buffed Repair Station and Cradle's repair abilities
-Valiant and Defensive Coordination's range boosting ability no longer stack; Defensive Coordination's ability now affects all ships (sans strikecraft)
-Reduced Charon bombing by 50%.
-Super Carrier buffed with faster firing MAC and more damage to its missiles.
-Super Carrier reduced in cost
-Super Carrier increased in fleet supply.
-Removed New Blood ability, added Instantly Build Fighters and Coordinated Bombardment abilities to Super Carrier
-Improved Fleet Coordinate ability
-Halcyon reduced in fleet supply.
-Buffed Cradle's self-repair
-Removed all random chance abilities from UNSC ships.
-Removed duplicate unlock text in researches
-Buffed SMAC's health
-Reduced Marathon research tier by one
-Reduced Orion's supply cost
Flood
-Ships are now disabled for 10 seconds after capture.
-Flood cant take neutral extractors
-Improved behavior
-Flood debuff is curved so late game it is actually a buff
General
-Flagship mode is now working. UNSC gets a supercarrier and the Covenant get an Assault Carrier.
-Added a new, redesigned, XP system for kills to balance out leveling capital ships.
-Balanced out Capital ship level purchasing ability for SotP.
-Removed starting free capital ship to prevent an exploit where a Covenant player could get a free Super Destroyer or CAS. Increased starting resources by the cost of a Pheonix capital to compensate.
-Removed antimatter cost for slipspace jumping
When will the patch be out? Soon. Whenever we can all sync up and agree for sloose to put it on moddb. But that should be arriving very soon.
Some of these changes are subject to change AND Lavo and Rovert will be updating this list with whatever I may have forgotten.
Mother of Invention is getting a nerf. It will behave more like a normal paris or a slightly upgraded one so it will be more of a, "Oh hey look its the MoL". VS "OMG It DESTROYED MY WHOLE FLEET"
