One Halo fan's perspective of Halo 2 AE made it to the UK Metro, basically points out the original games short comings but still manages to justify the need for the re-release.

Halo 2 was pretty ground breaking for its time, release day was my birthday (least the one given in the trailer) so it was a no-brainer having played and finished CE, Course I didn't have internet at the time and wasn't really big on MP, all that had changed by the time Halo 3 release, Come to think of it, my first online multiplayer experience was either PS2 game Hardware Online (so many french players that communication was a problem) or the awesome Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater multiplayer but I'd say I fully embraced Multiplayer with the PS3's Warhawk multiplayer only game, (seems to have aged well). So I guess for halo I was campaign only up to Halo 3.
