If you dont shit your pants when you see the super cruiser one shot your capital ships then i havnt done my job effectively

Bornsteller, I just reread that part and I'm not entirely sure if the ships were disabled from the jump or if they were just abandoned entirely so that the Covies could EVA from it. We can potentially add in a dormant state after jump, but it would have to be pretty short. We'll look into it.


Chief noted that the covie ships just appeared then looked dead in space, ac couple of seconds after that the ships lights came back on and it started to move again

Think of it this way, there are odsts taking over a planet on the surface & covenant stealth squads taking over planets instead of bombing them, with allegiance just being the ground forces strength.

I know you guys don't really like much of what happened in Halo Reach in terms of considering it canon (the CSO: Covenant Plot Device) and so on, but will there be space banshees (which seem pointless to me, but maybe could work)?

And also during the space fight the seraphs had shields, while I'm probably guessing adding shields to strike is impossible in sins just thought I'd ask. Also, space faring Phantoms (again not sure what role they'd play)?

The space Phantoms served to carry plasma torps to attack Anchor station if I remember correctly, right? Could be suitable, lore-wise, as a bomber. Though I'm not sure if it would fit well enough into the role in Sins.

IIRC Unikraken ruled out space banshees on the grounds that they are a product of laziness.
Bornsteller is so good of a modeler that he should be on the cover of Victoria Secret.™

Right now seraphs fill both roles, but we are on the look out for a better replacement. Zero is as well.

We're currently searching for a canon model of a ship for the slot. None of those have images of the thing.

Yeah that sucks. In the event that you can't find a canon model, will you guys just make up your own for the "Gigas", or some other bomber?

I don't know if there is a decision on this but you could use the phantom gunboat version... Not exactly a fighter but it would make up for slower speed with deadly fire power. Just a thought don't know how widely used they are

It's a really bad idea. Speed is the only thing that keeps strikecraft alive in SoASE.

I'm okay with that ship. Not to hang him out to dry, but I advocated for space banshees as planetary defense several months ago and Canada shot me down.

how big is this compared to the seraph? because, personally, i would interpret the design of this as a fighter

im not sure if we should name it already since it isnt confirmed if it will be in the mod.
