I've used meshes plenty of times when making particles. To scale the engine effects properly I had to add a mesh of every ships into the file and move it into the right position.


So they just always happened to have already been in mesh format rather than obj, okay I understand now.

Umm it actually seems to be arcing backwards towards the Thanatos in the background. I imagine this was a mistake and you wanted it to look like it was traveling towards the valiant super-heavy

Pretty sure it's the Oynx Sentinals and the Sentinal Factory. I'm modelling those and they will be done this weekend, I'll post a thread about it.
