Hey by some miracle and great skill on your part sir I am sure you can get it to look like the portal from halo 3You guys are making me work to find particles aren't you!? This is a huge conspiracy against me! I'm joking; however, this is some amazing/impressive work thus far, and I can't wait to help out.

Zero's got the textured model, I don't think you would wont the untextured one.

Edit: Oh, and I need the model already scaled with Sins prior. Otherwise I don't know how it will go.

I've only ever used the .MESH files included in the game and mod. I'll give it a whack, but I don't know how we would scale it in the end. From what I've read, I noticed a conclusion that it will be larger than the gravity well.

From what I understand it's also being considered to make the mesh part of the particle effect, since wormholes are already all particle effects.
Exactly, and I can't convert it to a mesh file myself because Autodesk has decided to say that my authentication has failed and the number 20 is relevant to that as well.

I think Canada's the only one on our team who converts the .obj files to .mesh format. So he would be the one to get that textured model to so that you can make the effect. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but I didn't imagine that you've had to use any meshes in your particle effects yet, in which case you wouldn't know.

I've used meshes plenty of times when making particles. To scale the engine effects properly I had to add a mesh of every ships into the file and move it into the right position.
