I won't lie when I say the texture was heavily influenced by the pattern on the side of the Citadel at the end of The Covenant.

People can click the link in the quote to the original post, it's so that people with slow Internet connections (like you, presumably) don't have to load the same image twice.

That was so fast, it was awesome. Goes to show you what this awesome team can do when it really tries. Now to post on moddb and implement in the private beta so i can spend every game hence forth just flying my ships around portal gravity wells.

Errrmmh... Methinks that's a Valiant or a Marathon... definitely not a Thanatos

I think he means the ship at the back of the picture is a Thantos and it is about to be hit by the Covvie plasma and therefor will be destroyed by the time the portal is in game. But it is pretty hard to translate what chief ship actually mean most of the time so who knows.
