Well in Halo it forced the UNSC and Covenant to join together multiple times in order to fight the Flood. Well documented, and is one of the primary reasons for the Alliance of the Elite rebels and the UNSC

I know this but it is completely irrelevant to what I am saying the problem is.

So far ive had no problems since i fixed the good old laptop and got Sins back up and running just for this sweet piece of halo heaven!
Obsessive use of the super carrier sorry cant spell it, absolutely awesome gameplay even tho its got a few bugs like all mods will to begin with. The faster paced sort of play is great and less time consuming but i do get annoyed by losing the odd cap ship.
And excellent work with the music tracks and units voices i would love to be able to help with that part.

Unfortunately i have not got the time nor connection speed to play online but looking forward to future releases for the UNSC.

Great to hear. The only word you spelled wrong was 'though', so I'm not sure what you think you couldn't spell lol.

Considering the context, probably Thermopylae... Not surprising either

EDIT... Got ninja'd...

The Orion is technically a battlecruiser, but people got in a tiffy about naming conventions in Sins.

I've been referring to it as a battlecruiser considering what its role became if you mean me.

There were a couple people very resistant to the classification, I honestly don't remember who. She's a battlecruiser to me though. lol

I remember suggesting the 'battlecruiser' classification.

The battlecruiser fits, and as some may know I have my opinions on classifications of warships and strike craft…

I won a game, Hard AI, small random map. I was neglecting my research and relaxing my expansion a lot, and only built CS. And my fleet was still superior to the AI.

Mainly because the AI didn't build a fleet, it built a hammock, where it relaxed and watched me raise its planets.

I think the ships over all move too slowly. That's great to give yourself time to move around/retreat before the enemy on the other side reaches you, but for moving reinforcements around it's impossible. It would work so much better if ships didn't have to obey phase lanes, reinforcements could just move straight to where they need to be.

I have tried getting the game to circumvent the phase lanes by have scouts deploy never dying stabilizer nodes, but they only seem to work half the time, sometimes it will let me jump straight there, sometimes it won't.

Edit: Also the voice acting for some of the ships, mainly Phonex refit and Prowler, are just downright bad.

That's what the level 2 starbase phase jump research is for...
ATM it says it damages enemies more, but it actually allows them to jump directly

Perhaps we should change the string file?

The vasari have that ability in rebellion. Make it so you can only jump to your own planets like soge. they do it so you jump to broadcast centers. If you can jump anywhere then the enemy would have to fortify every planet and visa versa and things like smac walls wouldn't work.
