Also, the Anchor should only have a single frigate factory model around it, seeing as how it can only produce one ship at a time.
I'm speaking more in terms of hardcoding, but that works too.
I was thinking about this. So do you mean it isn't possible to have more than 1 build animation per structure?
I was thinking you can buy addition construction modules but only the first module actually builds ships. The others either just have semi built ships and/or , if possible, a particle animation could be added where boom construction arms look like they are 'building' the semi built ships.
Since we saw Anchor 9 in a debris field, and since those debris were probably UNSC ships' scraps, how about giving it a recycling ability? Like, for every ship you lose in the gravity well where the Anchor is stationing you get some resources back, just as if the station was actually recycling the metal of the destroyed ships.
This seems like a great idea for a defensive based faction to have so it is pretty perfect for the UNSC. Similar to the concept of RvB's recycling station.
