Its from the point of view of a forerunner, so ship classifications are different. Still happens today. The Dutch 7 province class frigate is internationally considered a destroyer, but is considered a frigate by the royal dutch navy, and the T45 class destroyer is considered a cruiser by some navies.

I hate these types of things, where the PR guy behind the account contradicts established novel canon (despite it being shit coughglasslands).

I hate when an author decides to override canon to make an intelligent race who had an interstellar empire long before the Covenant have no skills sans for combat.  I mean there are billions of Sangheili its impossible for all of them to be professional soldiers in the Covenant.  Setting things straight is a good thing imo.
