All of these analogies are actually pretty wrong. The Nether was the best example here actually. You're not going from point A to B by bending space. You're not traveling along warp bubbles. You are literally tearing a hole into another sub-universe, traveling through it's warped/folded space, and then tearing another hole back into our own.
It's like there are two pieces of grid paper, one is flat and another underneath it is all bent up, but both sheets grids still represent the same points in space. You drop down onto the bent up paper, take your short trip, then pop back up on the corresponding point on the flat grid paper.

STV>SG-1>STTNG>SGA>STE>Star warsV>SWVI>Angry birds star wars II> SW prequels.Well we all know Stargate was the Mary Sue of all Sci-fi shows on at the time. The first season is really the only season worth watching IMO.
This goes by story.

Star trek plot hole: TNG: All good things (series finale) future Picard says "Warp 15, engage."
It still takes time for the ship to accelerate to the point where it is at an infinite velocity. So warp 15 would be much faster in terms of how fast it takes to get to infinite velocity.
Also There have been discussions that warp and warp factor are two different things. Warp factor 10 is infinite velocity but warp 10 may not be.
Halo=mass effect= STE= portal= half life =aliens= starship troopers =forbidden planet > STDS9= ST2009S= transformers > STTNG > SW prequels = SW expanded universe stuff about mandolorians > Star wars other stuff > SG
If you include games and films.

The prequels are awesome.
they had liam neeson and samuel motherf*****g jackson as jedi, and The lord of awesomeness himself and sir Christopher lee as dooku.
Point invalidated.

Having a few star actors doesn't compensate of how much a fuck up the SW Prequels are.
I came to watch an epic space fantasy not see little Anakin cry his way into Darth Vader. Talk about an utter degrading of Vader.
"What the bad ass villain that was Darth Vader was this whinny little brat?"
Don't remind me of "This is Pod Racing!"...
The SW Prequels is a product of George Lucas's shit polished with shiny CGI. But doesn't change the fact that it's still a piece of shit.

I guess you never read the original books, but then I never expected you to in the first place. Also Spectre, placing Starship Troopers on the same tier as everything else is disheartening. Starship Troopers is clearly at the top of all lists.

Even if the originals was even worse (it's true I haven't read those), this still felt like too much of a "WTF moment". And they should have done something to remedy that.
and, as always, you are entitled to your opinion.
If that's the case, how is any point valid or invalidated?
Anyways back to the slipspace and FTL drives.

A valid result is where if you repeat the thesis another time, and get the same result.
So he made a statement and i did not get the same result, thus it is invalid.

That applies to academic research where you try to maintain a situated knowledge about your own opinions affecting the results. You claim to be right by the virtue of actors names, something that was not part of the original thesis and is only motivated by you own opinion.A valid result is where if you repeat the thesis another time, and get the same result.
So he made a statement and i did not get the same result, thus it is invalid.
Disagree with each other all you want but do NOT use pseudo-academics to "prove" your point
Editb I came across as bit douchy in my original post

Since you did not do this and simply stated that you like the actors(personal preference) you failed to disprove the results of a thesis.
I have spent 4+ years in college and so has many others in this fandom, do not presume that we are ignorant.

If you means this post I fail to see you point.

If you mean theese two my point stands. You take a stament as a thesis and claim that you put it through the exakt same tests in the exakt same environment, yes? Because that is your implication, which is silly since there never was a thesis and yet you claim it to be ivalidated because you did not get the same results based only on your personal feelings. You use the term "thesis" improperly, lack any empirical evidence, do not situate your knowledge and still feel like trying to defend your tenous position.
All I wanted was for you to not mix in pseudo-academics in a argument about who likes what. It cheapens the time, money, blood, sweat and tears many here have invested in college.
