ummm how do you disable it?

In the enabled mods file remove the name of the sotp mod folder from the quotes and chance the count from one to zero.

I downloaded the mod from Moddb and Nexus and I get the same problem from both. I enable the mod in game, it goes into the opening SOTP logo before the animation and then a box pops up that says "SoundData for CAPITALSHIP_something something does not exist" I try to enable it from the the enabledmod.txt and it still does that.

It almost sounds like your trying to load it from Dev.exe, is that the case? If so navigate to your rebellionuser.setting file and find the line that says SHOWERRORS: TRUE and change it to false.

Damn it. It didnt show the box but it minidumped at the logo screen.

So I downloaded it through moddb the first time. Followed the procedures went to enable it in game. Enabled and applied it and it started it as normal SoaSE. Read through some of the forum and from what I read I thought it installed incorrectly. So I downloaded it through nexus and went through the same procedures and I get the same results of going straight to normal SoaSE. I use the Sins of a Galactic empire mod and it's squad size reduction, but I can't get this one to work. Even enabled it manually by putting the enable code into the mods folder. It looks awesome and I want to play it. Help please.

Open the SotP mod folder, make sure you're putting the right folder in the mods folder.

That sounds like it didn't download correctly and your zip is corrupt ..

What Sloose said, either sign in with a moddb account if you hadn't before, you'll get a better server, or if you had then go ahead and download from our NexusMods mirror.

Is NexusMods more reliable? We might want to add that to the download link thingy at the top of the page.

Hello, my game keeps crashing right when I press start game. The loading screen pops up and the game fully crashes after picking a map, teams, etc. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, look at many YouTube videos, I have no idea. Everything looks right, the paths, the files.

No go, still crashed when it started loading a map. In the mod folder, you extract the v_0_56_1 folder right? Not the v.56.1?

 

Also, I also did the Larger Address Aware. The settings.sav file appeared. Dose it go anywhere? I haven't seen any directions for that.

You know the difference between a download and an install right? Are you sure there aren't any anomalies in your internet connection during the download? If it fucks up even for a second the whole download can be botched.

Yeah, I know the difference. I meant to put I un and reinstalled the game. Connect is fine, no issues.

Re-download the mod. That's almost certainly your problem

I done that about 5-7 times.
